back from the future

Hey all I've went back to DA (deviantart.com) and just wanted to show my 'giggles' horendous work when I was studing art for the past five years. When I was fourteen I've first discovered Joe Mad at a American magazine (which was imported to sell in the UK) known as PSM and when I first looked at the cover of the magazine I was so hooked by Joe's style of comic art, which that he did some really cool computer game covers of various characters that every game was announed or even a lengedary chacacters that we all know and love. And once I discovered about a game called devil may cry from capcom (at the same time seeing Joe Mad) my childhood dreams somehow returned of wanting to become a comic book artist. Around that time I had an idea of making a comic book of my own based of devil may cry, but with my own version of course. Back then I wasn't a good artist back in my teens but usually I did got access to buy marvel comics at a local shop to get me inspired. Then I was watching a movie called romeo must die with Jet Li and Aliyah (rest in piece Aliyah), then the title came to my head and I named my first comic 'demon must die'.
In 2007 rounding up my third year I have been drawing characters and yes they still needed some work, but I will draw them up though I don't know when -_-;.

So here is, not the main heroin but soon to be an attractive character misty.

I did this in markers when I was admitted in hospital, or was it before??? Anyway I don't know when I will be doing more on my personal project but sadly I'm still on a process of improvement on stuuuufffff, so there you go lol. I am on a thinking process on doing a comic of it though even it's hard for me to come back to it cos I gotta do the process of the concept deep enough to do this (probably going back to my old comic books for bringing me memories on how I think about my version of the comic, if that make sense). Anyways hope you like, there are more characters I swear so I'll be back with probably some concepts if I can actually work on it.

BYE :)

No works yet but got some new inspiration

Yo to whoever reads this, the new year has arrived and things are quiet shaping up compare to last year, but anyways i'm still going strong. Being at a new college is somehow quiet challenging but I did learn art for the past five years so I needed to learn new things if I needed to get to illustration.
Thus far I'm doing a course call creative computing since September and I'm starting to learn a lot from photoshop and other softwares (even though I've been stuck using the same techniques of cust and past in photoshop for the past few years) so I'm about to turn the new leaf I hope.

Today I've got a new book which I've ordered from amazon called CFSL.NET which stands for cafe sale in french and it is worth a read if my brain is in a certain art block. I will get more of these artbooks cos there worth the money and inspiration looking at these french artist and the whole world of artists collide in one book.

Heres the photo's from my blackberry ^^

This book is great for inspiration wherever your doing any kind of art or starting out and I recommend it. I won't be posting my sketches (nor that I was suppose to show) But for now this is my first post since I've got my first tablet, but for now enjoy these pages :D.

Oh before I go Happy new year^^

Summer is bleeehhhhhh and got my first wacom tablet

Hey guys hows your summer going? Mines just quiet crappy at the moment but I;m just hanging on with my art (which is a good thing) but I'm quiet frustrated with ideas at the moment cos every sketch I make is just the same techniques over and over again. I wish I could change my own style but somehow I've struggled a lot because of it and I have been looking back at my old magazines of Imagine FX for inspiration. In the meantime though I've got my first wacom tablet of wacom bamboo with pen (without the touch). I've shouldn't have this like January cos I'm getting into it, even though I don't have a proper software yet due to have spent my hard saved money on photoshop CS4 that just don't work in a day (wish I could find the guy who framed me and kill him) but all is not lost. I'm using a trial version of painter 11 and I'm loving it so far. I was gonna try and save money for painter 11 but right now I'm paying with the bills for my new contract phone which is a blackberry 8900. Yes I am having fun with the tablet and even the trial version of painter 11 which you could say that I'm more better using it then photoshop, but I got like less then 15 days to use it so I gotta spend a lot of time experimenting the mediums and also my own colouring techniques when using painter. So without further ado here are the photo's. Hope you'll see how much progress of my work in the coming months.
Take care :)
